Argumento: ¿Cuál será la venganza póstuma de Miguel Angel? Al limpiar los frescos de la Capilla Sixtina, los restauradores descubren algunas partes señaladas con letras que no tienen ningún sentido. El cardenal Jellinek inicia una investigación que le llevará hasta el Libro de Jeremías, un documento olvidado que revela aspectos sobre la resurrección de Jesús que pueden hacer tambalear los cimientos del cristianismo.
Me encantó: Porque es una historia que te aptrapa, no lo podés soltar facilmente
Te documenta sobre aspectos interesantes: la misteriosa vida de Miguel Angel, los misterios de la Iglesia, el presunto asesinato de Juan PAblo I, los papas y sus tantos secretos, las discusiones entre las diferentes congregaciones de la Iglesia, etc.
El estilo no es tan liviano, ni tan betseller como el del Código Da Vinci, tiene profundidad y además se escribió antes de éste.
Tiene suspenso, aventura, un poco de romance, misterio y acción.
No me gustó: a veces profundiza mucho en algo y uno necesita más acción.

Ya me había leído "La maldición de Copernico" y es una joya, buenísimo. Además me leí "El inventor de espejos" también bueno, por lo que ví que era sobre este autor dije: tengo que leerlo y no me equivoqué.
Nació en Breslau (Alemania) en 1941, después de realizar sus estudios de bachillerato ingresó en la universidad de Munich, terminando las carreras de Historia del Arte y Filología Germánica, investigador sobre todo centrado en la historia antigua como vemos en toda su obra, siendo autor de los libros famosos 'Las conjura sixtina', 'La maldición de los faraones' y 'El secreto del oráculo', todos de reconocido éxito mundial. Otros libros de menor reconocimiento son 'El pompeyano', 'El quinto evangelio', 'El complot del faraón' y 'El escarabajo verde', obras que han gustado bastante, tanto a la crítica como al público. En la actualidad, reside con su esposa en Munich y acaba de escribir un libro sobre la vida de Howard Carter descubridor de la tumba de Tutankhamon llamado 'El rey de Luxor' que seguramente será otro gran éxito.

Hola muchacha/o! yo también leí la Conjura Sixtina, mucho antes de el afamado (y aburrido) Código Da Vinci... Y antes de la Conjura, El Enigma Sagrado... ambos mucho más recomendables que la obrita de Dan Brown, que, por otro lado, no tiene nada de original...

aunque a veces se pone un poco pesado y lento es una historia muy atrapante y no la podes dejar hasta el final
no me convencio mucho el final con lo que paso con jellinek pero igual esta de 10
Uno de los peores libros que he leido, y eso que la trama parecia interesante. Realmente no se sostiene, ademas de que el argumento esta muy trillado, eligieron narrarlo como si fuera el recuerdo de una conversacion, pero sorprendentemente el narrador recuerda absolutamente todo!!!!!!!!! nombre, cargo, ubicacion, vestimenta, y mucho mas de cada uno de los personajes que aparecen en la trama. Realmente muy endeble.
